- THE BELT TENSIONER AND BELT SHOULD BE REPLACED TOGETHER .
- THE ACTUATOR MOTOR HAS SPLIT IN 2 OF THE MOUNTING POINTS. THE SWITCH WAS ACTIVATED SEVERAL TIMES AND THE MOTOR WAS TAPPED ON WITH A RUBBER MALLET . THE MOTOR STARTED TO MAKE NOISE AND THE TRANSFER CASE ENGAGED STARTING TO TURN THE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT . THE TRANSFER CASE ACTUATOR MOTOR WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED .
- TO REPLACE THE TENSIONER SEVERAL COMPONENTS HAVE TO BE REMOVED . RUST RELATED ISSUES COULD CAUSE THE ESTIMATE TO INCREASE .
- EXTRACT SEIZED BOLT . RETHREAD BOLT AND MOUNT HOLE IN BLOCK. CLEAN MOUNTING SURFACES .
