- REMOVE AND REPLACE INTAKE MANIFOLD TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH . INSTALL NEW SWITCH AND SPARK PLUGS .
- TEST SYSTEM PRESSURES PERFORM VISUAL INSPECTION OF COMPRESSOR DRIVE BELT & CONDENSOR COMPARE DUCT TO OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE DIFFERENCE THE COMPRESSOR AND THE FANS ARE RUNNING WHEN THE SYSTEM IS TURNED ON . THE TEMPERATURE AT THE VENTS WAS 48 DEGREES .
- WITH THE VEHICLE IN THE AIR OIL COULD BE SEEN LEAKING FROM BETWEEN THE ENGINE AND THE TRANSMISSION . THE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH IS A COMMON CAUSE OF THESE ISSUES. THE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH IS LOCATED UNDER THE INTAKE MANIFOLD . USING A VIDEO SCOPE THE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH WAS FOUND TO BE LEAKING .
