WITH VEHICLE ON LIFT THE SHIFTER CABLES WERE INSPECTED . BOTH CABLES ARE MOVING CORRECTLY . THEY HAVE BOTH BEEN ATTACHED TO THE MOUNTING CABLE WITH WIRE TIES . IT LOOKS AS IF THE CLIPS MAY HAVE FAILED . THE BRACKET IS POSSIBLY WORN ALSO . THE SHIFT CABLE ASSEMBLY , BRACKET AND CLIPS CAN BE REPLACED . IT IS NOT GUARANTEED TO FIX THIS ISSUE .
